Wizard Tutorial - by Dusk@Anam

Chapter Zero: Some Preliminary Notes

I'll try and make this quick:
1. I don't mind if you copy this and distribute it. Except a) you can't make money off of it, and b) Please please keep my name on it. I would prefer you not chop it up, but that's alright. And I'd prefer you just link to these pages, but I'm not going to worry too much about things I can’t control.

2. Anam authors can just put their thumb against the screen any time it says "wizard" and think "author" quietly to themselves.

3. All of these explanations, commands, and code are written for any Nightmare-based system. The further you get away from Nightmare, the less likely any of this is going to be true (type <version> on your mud and see what it says after "Mudlib: ". If it says "Nightmare" something, you're good to go). The further you get from Nightmare version 3.2 or thereabouts, the less likely any of this will be true as well.

4. If you'd like to log into Anam and say thanks or hi or ask questions, please do. If you want to tell me that I don't know a damn thing about coding, you can... not log in.
